Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 7 November 2026. Draft v0.1.
1. Who we are
Hayley Anne Houselander, ABN 72 879 079 794, trading as Boardroom to Birth Suite and B2BS ("B2BS", "we", "us"). We run boardroomtobirthsuite.com.au. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Contact: hayley@boardroomtobirthsuite.com.au.
2. What we collect
When you buy. Your email address and, depending on your checkout settings, your name and billing country. Stripe collects your payment details directly. We do not see or store your card number. We also keep a record of the purchase (date, amount, Stripe reference) so we can give you access and handle refunds.
When you use the Manager Risk Quiz. Your quiz answers are processed in your browser to show your result. We do not ask for your name or email and we do not save your answers or your result against you.
When you visit the site. Technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location (country or city), the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from an ad) and when. This is collected through cookies and similar tools.
When you contact us. Your email address and what you tell us.
We do not knowingly collect health information. Please do not send us details about your pregnancy, health or employer when you contact us.
3. Why we collect it
- To take payment, deliver the Toolkit and give you access.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds and support.
- To run and improve the website and quiz.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including finding out which ads lead to purchases.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We use service providers to run B2BS. They handle information on our behalf and for their own purposes as described in their policies.
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Takes payment, issues receipts, detects fraud | Your email, payment details, billing details, purchase amount |
| Netlify | Hosts the website and delivery functions | Technical and request data (such as IP address) |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Runs our ads and measures results using the Meta pixel | Page visits and standard events such as ViewContent, InitiateCheckout and Purchase, with browser identifiers. We do not send your quiz answers or your manager type. |
| Google (Google Workspace email) | Lets us reply to you | Your email and message |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or if the business is sold or restructured.
5. Cookies, the Meta pixel and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to understand how it is used, and to measure our ads. The Meta pixel is a piece of code from Meta that records when you visit a page or take an action on our site, so we can see which ads led to a purchase and show our ads to people who may be interested. Meta may use that data to match you to your Meta account, as set out in Meta's privacy policy.
You can control this. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's privacy features, adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, or opt out of tracking in the cookie notice on our site. If you block cookies some parts of the site may not work.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where Stripe, Netlify, Google and Meta operate. By using our site and buying the Toolkit, you understand your information may be handled outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to choose providers that protect personal information. [Lawyer to confirm APP 8 wording.]
7. How we keep it safe
Payments are processed by Stripe. Access to the Toolkit is checked on the server after payment is confirmed. Secrets and keys are stored securely and not in the website's public code. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.
8. How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Support emails are kept for 2 years. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it. [Confirm each period with your accountant and lawyer.]
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email hayley@boardroomtobirthsuite.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
10. Marketing
We do not currently send marketing emails. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and every message will include an unsubscribe link.
11. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other sites, such as Fair Work, the Australian Human Rights Commission and Services Australia. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
